Storyteller

Last Thursday and Friday a great storyteller ( Helen) visited us at school. She told us different stories:
Where´s Spot?, Whose legs? and  Dear Zoo  for Infants. The Gingerbread Man  and  A Shark In The Park  for the 1st Cycle.
Everybody did different activities about the stories and enjoyed a lot. It was fantastic!

Easter in England

 Hello everyone!
 Easter is coming! Here you are how English children celebrate Easter.


Easter is in Marh or April. At Easter, English children eat hot cross buns for breakfast. They make Easter cards for Mum and Dad . They go to the shops and buy Easter eggs.
On Easter Sunday they go to the church in the morning. After that, they have an Easter egg hunt. Mum and dad hide chocolate eggs in the garden and if you find an egg, you can eat it.
On  Easter Monday, there´s an egg rolling competition and an Easter parade. They make an Easter bonnet and they decorate eggs. They wear the bonnet at the parade.
The chick, the Easter bunny and Easter chocolate eggs are traditional symbols of Easter.

April Fool´s Day

    April 1st is April Fool´s Day in Britain. This is a very old tradition from the Middle Ages. At that time the servants were masters for one day of the year. They gave orders to their masters, and their masters had to obey.
    Now April Fool´s Day is different. It´s a day for jockes and tricks.
